Congratulations to Elizabeth "Morgan" Russette - another Box Elder School Good News Shout Out of the Day! Mrs. Myers recognized Morgan stating: Morgan has shown a lot of growth in reading and math this year! She constantly is working hard on her work. Since we have started distance learning she has completed every assignment! She was even working on her assignments during the weekend to stay educated! I have asked her to work on 5th grade standards on IXL as one of the assignments. Morgans response to me was, " Why can't I work on 6th grade standards?" Not only does she do her daily work, she looks for ways to go beyond what is asked. I am very proud of the hard work and dedication Morgan shows day in and day out! Way to go Morgan! Keep up all the good and hard work! I am so proud and admire your hard work and dedication to your education!

Attention all Box Elder Families:
If your child is having any trouble getting apps from Self Service (like the Box Elder Public Schools app) to download, here are three options to choose from to help get the apps downloaded:
1) Be patient and wait (it may just take a REALLY long time)
2) Call Triangle and have them increase your internet speed (they are doing this for families who had service through them before school closures, if you call and ask)
3) Drive to the front of the school and download the necessary apps (self service just works faster when connected to our WiFi)
Hope this helps!
Hello Box Elder Bears! Today (Thursday) is the last day we will be delivering food for this week. -From everyone here at operation “Feeding Our Bears”: We hope you have a safe and healthy weekend.
Congrats to another AWESOME student who continues to work hard even while not in school! Chazz Rosette is one of our Good News Calls of the Day today! Mrs. Williams is recognizing Chazz, stating: Positive Attitude, Responsibility (or Respect), Integrity, Dependability, and Effort Towards Graduation. These are the attributes we instill in our students to help them prepare for life outside of school. With everything going on in our world today, our students are living life "outside of school." Even in the face of Social Distancing, Chazz Rosette has shined so brightly with these attributes over the past few days. He has kept a positive attitude and asked for help with his music assignments through appropriate communication. He has shown responsibility, integrity, and dependability through taking an effort towards graduation. He is determined not to let social distancing take his education away from him. I am VERY proud to have him as a student! He is just one of the many lights shining in our community, and he shining so bright! Thank you for taking ownership of your learning Chazz. Remember this moment throughout your life. Remember that nothing can stop you from achieving your goals as long as you keep Bear PRIDE at your center. Keep up the great work, Chazz!

Parents & Guardians of Box Elder School Students: please take a look at our Staff Newsletter shared in the "documents" section of our school app to get the PDF document with live links.
The newsletter is usually shared with staff each weekend and since we are working much more closely with you all as you assist us with "school from home", we thought it was only appropriate to include parents & guardians in the staff newsletter mailing. We are also encouraging virtual spirit week with the dress-up days attached! Send us pictures of your kiddos showing their school spirit from home - we want to stay connected!
Here's to a productive week for everyone - and remember STAY HOME, STAY HEALTHY, AND TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER!
